iCal calendar sync that pushes your availability everywhere

Every Airflow property has an iCal feed URL that Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar can subscribe to, so your booked dates block automatically. Google and Outlook also get full two-way sync.

iCal calendar sync that pushes your availability everywhere

The simplest way to prevent double-bookings across platforms is to give them all one shared truth about your availability. Airflow does this by publishing your calendar as an iCal feed. Whenever a booking is added in Airflow — from any channel, a direct guest or a home swap — your feed updates, and every platform subscribed to it blocks those dates. This is calendar sync that flows outward from Airflow, with two-way sync on top for Google and Outlook.

How it works

  1. 1

Get your property iCal feed URL

Each Airflow property has its own iCal feed URL in the calendar settings. Copy it to share your availability with any platform that accepts an iCal subscription.

  2. 2

    Choose full or availability-only

Pick the full feed, or an availability-only mode that shares blocked dates without guest detail — the OTA-safe option for pasting into Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo.

  3. 3

    Subscribe other platforms to it

Paste the feed URL into Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Each one then subscribes to your Airflow availability and blocks the booked dates.

  4. 4

Add two-way Google or Outlook sync

For Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar, connect the live two-way sync so bookings appear as events and stay in step both directions, beyond what a one-way feed offers.

One feed, every platform blocked

Because every booking in Airflow updates your property feed, subscribing the platforms you list on means a reservation made anywhere blocks the same dates everywhere. A direct booking, an Airbnb stay read from email, or a HomeExchange swap all land in the same calendar and all flow out through the same feed. The availability-only mode shares just the blocked dates, which is the safe choice for pasting into OTA calendar settings where you do not want guest detail exposed.

Two-way sync for Google and Outlook

iCal feeds are one-way by design — other platforms read your availability. For Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar, Airflow goes further with live two-way sync, so your bookings appear as calendar events and changes stay aligned in both directions. That makes Airflow the hub: your team sees bookings in the calendar app they already use, and the OTAs see availability through the feed.

What this is, and what it is not

To be precise: Airflow publishes an iCal feed OUT to other platforms and offers two-way Google and Outlook sync. It does not currently import an external iCal feed — that is, it does not subscribe to another system calendar to pull blocks in. The model is Airflow as the source of truth for your availability, broadcasting outward, rather than mirroring a calendar owned elsewhere.

Common questions

Can Airbnb and Booking.com subscribe to my Airflow calendar?

Yes. Each property has an iCal feed URL you paste into Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar so they block your booked dates.

Is there a mode that hides guest details?

Yes. The availability-only feed shares blocked dates without guest information, which is the OTA-safe option for pasting into channel calendars.

Does Airflow import an external iCal feed?

Not currently. Airflow publishes its calendar out as a feed and offers two-way Google and Outlook sync. It does not subscribe to an external iCal feed to pull blocks in.

What is the difference between the feed and Google or Outlook sync?

The iCal feed is one-way — platforms read your availability. Google Calendar and Outlook get full two-way sync, so bookings appear as events and changes stay aligned both directions.
