Commissions on Bookings
In addition to — or, on free and marketplace listings, in place of — any subscription fee, Airflow charges a commission on bookings you process through the Service and its connected payment processors (such as Stripe and Paystack). By using the Service to take bookings or accept payments, you agree that:
- Rate. The applicable commission rate depends on your plan and is shown on our pricing page and within your account at the time of booking. Free and marketplace listings are charged at a higher commission rate than paid plans.
- How it is charged. Commission is charged in proportion to the amount actually received for a booking. When a guest pays a deposit or part-payment, commission is charged only on the amount received; the remaining commission is charged as further payments are received, up to the full booking value.
- Collection. Commission is collected automatically via the payment processor and/or invoiced to you as payments are received. You authorise us to deduct or charge commission on this basis.
- Non-refundable. Commission charged on amounts you have actually received is non-refundable, including where a guest later cancels and you retain a deposit.
- Your pricing is your responsibility. You are solely responsible for setting your own prices, deposits, taxes, and fees. Commission is calculated on the booking values you configure.
We may change commission rates with 30 days’ notice. The rate in effect when a booking is created applies to that booking.
Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. We claim no ownership of your content or business data.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Airflow and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
Accounting, Invoicing & Your Responsibilities
Airflow automates administrative tasks — including structuring booking data, drafting invoices, calculating figures, converting currencies, and syncing records to third-party accounting software. We make reasonable efforts to populate accurate and complete values, but the Service is an administrative automation tool only. We do not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, or financial advice, and we are not your accountant or bookkeeper.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of your own accounting records, the invoices and statements you issue to your guests, clients, or owners, your tax calculations and filings, and all related obligations.
- All invoices, drafts, figures, currency conversions, commission calculations, payouts, and accounting entries generated or suggested by the Service are provided as a starting point and must be reviewed, verified, and approved by you before they are issued, relied upon, or submitted to any third party or authority.
- It is your responsibility to ensure the correct values, tax treatment, and details are in place. We are not responsible or liable for errors, omissions, or misclassifications in your accounts, invoices, statements, or filings, or for any decision, payment, or liability arising from them.
Artificial Intelligence Features
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to assist with tasks such as extracting information from emails and documents, drafting messages and invoices, generating replies, and automating workflows. AI is provided to assist you and can be wrong.
- AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise mistaken, and may misread or misinterpret source information.
- You must review all AI-generated content before relying on it, sending it to a guest or third party, or acting on it.
- We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI output and are not liable for AI errors or for any decision or action taken on the basis of AI-generated content.
Reports, Statistics & Estimates
Dashboards, reports, statistics, analytics, forecasts, and other figures provided by the Service are generated to the best of our ability for your convenience and general information only. They may contain errors or be based on incomplete or unsynced data.
You should not rely on them as the sole basis for any business, financial, tax, accounting, or legal decision, and you should independently verify any figures that matter. We accept no responsibility or liability for decisions made, or actions taken, on the basis of these reports, statistics, or estimates.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Without limiting the above, we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any data, invoice, figure, currency conversion, commission calculation, AI-generated output, report, or statistic produced by the Service, and you are responsible for verifying all such outputs before relying on them.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after 30 days.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England.
