Everything you need to know before you start

How does the pricing work?

Pick the plan for how you work, then the number of listings you run. A listing is anything guests rent by the night or by the day: a house, a room, a tent, a vehicle, a boat or equipment. Free gives you a booking page and widget for one listing (+$10 a month for each extra one), bookable today, and a place on Airflow Stay when the marketplace opens, with automated tasks at $2.00 each if you want them. Starter automates the admin for one listing (+$10 for each extra one). Growth covers up to 3 listings (+$9 each beyond). Portfolio is priced on a slider from 10 listings with no upper limit: it bills as Pro up to 19 listings and as Business from 20. Automated tasks are pooled across all your listings.

Who takes the guest's payment?

You do. Connect your own payment methods (Stripe for cards, Paystack, M-Pesa or bank transfer) and guests pay you directly. Airflow never collects or holds the money and never pays you out later, which is how Airbnb works. Our commission is charged at the moment a guest pays: on Stripe card payments it is deducted automatically from that payment, and for M-Pesa, bank and other payments it is billed to your card on file when you record the payment, in proportion to what was paid.

What commission does Airflow charge, and on which bookings?

Only on bookings a guest makes and pays through Airflow: your Airflow booking page, website or booking widget, with the payment processed by Airflow, and bookings that come from Airflow Stay and Airflow Guest. The booking page rate depends on your plan: 5% on Free, 3% on Starter and 2% on Growth and Portfolio. Bookings from Stay and Guest carry 15% on Free and 12% on every paid plan, and extras a guest adds follow that same marketplace rate. Blocking dates and bookings from Airbnb or Booking.com carry no commission, and nor does a booking you add yourself that is already paid. A booking you add that the guest then pays through Airflow carries your booking page rate.

Are card processing fees included in the commission?

No. You connect your own Stripe account (or Paystack), so card processing fees are charged by Stripe or Paystack on top of Airflow's commission, at the rate on your account with them. Airflow's commission is our fee only.

Can I use Airflow on my existing website?

Yes. Keep the site you have, whether it runs on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or was built by hand, and paste in the booking widget: one line of embed code from your portal, for each listing. Guests see live availability and your prices, and book and pay without leaving your site. Widget bookings count as booking page bookings, so they carry your plan's booking page rate (5% on Free, down to 2% on Portfolio), not the marketplace rate. The widget is included on every plan, including Free.

What does the free plan include?

Your own booking page, share links and a booking widget for your own website, with card payments, a guest portal for every booking and two-way calendar sync with your other channels, for one listing. Your listing joins Airflow Stay and Airflow Guest when the marketplace opens. You can also capture bookings from your other channels by email or WhatsApp, and connect your accounting software, Google Sheets and your Gmail or Outlook: Free has no monthly task allowance, so each task they run is pay as you go. A monthly allowance and add-on trials start on Starter. To take bookings on a free listing we ask for a card on file, and nothing is charged until you are booked.

Do the add-ons have a free trial?

Yes, on every plan, Free included. Website + Hosting, Guest Portal Pro, Reviews and Operations each come with a 30-day free trial, once per add-on. After the trial each one is billed at its own price, on every plan.

I run a large portfolio or several companies. What are my options?

Keep moving the Portfolio slider: there is no upper limit and no quote to request. Each listing beyond 25 is $7 a month. If your listings sit in separate companies with their own accounts, give each company its own Airflow organisation, so each one syncs to its own accounting file.

What is an automated task?

Anything Airflow does for you automatically: reading a forwarded booking email, drafting an invoice in your accounting software, sending a scheduled guest message, or syncing to Google Sheets. Viewing your dashboard, changing settings and editing calendars never count. If you run out, Airflow keeps working at your plan's rate per extra task, which is lower on bigger plans.

How does the free trial work?

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, with every feature of your plan from day one and 20 automated tasks to try them with. Your plan's full monthly allowance starts with your first payment. We take your card at signup so nothing interrupts you on day 7, but we don't charge it during the trial. On day 7 your first payment is taken automatically. Cancel any time before then from your portal and you are never charged.

Will my price change when launch pricing ends?

Current plans are at discounted launch pricing (the full prices are shown struck through). If you pay yearly, your launch price is locked for your full 12-month term. Monthly subscribers keep their launch price until launch pricing officially ends, and we'll give clear notice before any change.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your portal. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing period.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your listing can stay on the free plan.
