Managing Your Properties

Your properties, organised — Whether you manage one property or twenty, Airflow keeps each one separate with its own bookings, settings, and email address.

What is a resource?

In Airflow, a "resource" is anything that gets booked — a villa, a lodge, a guesthouse, a boutique hotel, a safari camp, an apartment. We use the term "resource" internally, but you'll see it labelled as "property" throughout the portal if you're in the hospitality vertical.

Each resource gets:

  • Its own Airflow email address for receiving booking emails
  • Its own booking calendar with availability tracking
  • Its own settings — pricing, capacity, location, description
  • Its own booking website page (if you use Airflow Direct)

Adding a new resource

When you set up your account, the onboarding wizard creates your first resource. To add more:

  1. Go to Resources in your portal menu
  2. Click Add Resource
  3. Enter a name and category
  4. Configure settings (location, capacity, amenities)

Each new resource appears in your dashboard and can receive bookings immediately.

Resource settings

Each resource has a comprehensive settings page where you configure:

Basic information

  • Name and description — shown on your booking website and in communications
  • Location — address, map coordinates, directions
  • Capacity — maximum guests, bedrooms, bathrooms
  • Amenities — WiFi, parking, pool, kitchen, etc.

Pricing

  • Base nightly rate — your standard price
  • Seasonal adjustments — higher rates for peak season, lower for off-peak
  • Weekly and monthly discounts — percentage off for longer stays
  • Cleaning fee — one-time fee added to each booking
  • Minimum stay — minimum number of nights per booking

Booking settings

  • Availability — default available or blocked
  • Buffer days — turnaround time between bookings
  • Check-in / check-out times — default arrival and departure times
  • Deposit percentage — how much guests pay upfront for direct bookings

Email address

Your resource's unique Airflow email address is shown here. Forward booking confirmations to this address, or connect your Gmail/Outlook for automatic scanning.

Multi-property management

If you manage multiple properties, the context switcher in the top menu lets you filter your entire portal by property. Bookings, stats, and settings all scope to the selected property. Choose "All" to see everything across your portfolio.

Each property can belong to a different organisation if needed — useful for property managers who manage rentals for multiple owners.
