One calendar, including the bookings you take yourself
See every listing on one calendar, block the dates you need, and add bookings you take by phone, by email or at the door. A booking you add that is already paid carries no Airflow commission.
Every booking on one calendar
The Bookings page in your portal opens on a calendar with day, week, month and year views. Bookings from every channel sit beside the ones you added yourself, and blocked dates and turnaround days are marked in their own colours. You can switch blocks, turnaround days and past bookings on or off, and narrow the view to one listing.
Block dates
Close dates when a listing is not available: your own stay, maintenance, a renovation. Open the listing's Block Dates tab, give the block a from date, a to date and a reason, and save. Blocked dates show as unavailable on your booking page and are included in the calendar link you give Airbnb, Booking.com and other channels. Your note on a block stays private.
On the same tab you can set a turnaround time: the number of days Airflow keeps closed after each check-out for cleaning and preparation.
Dates blocked by another calendar you have connected appear too. Open one to add a note, turn it into a booking or release the dates.
Add a booking by hand
Took a booking on the phone, by email or at the door? Press Add booking, choose the listing and enter the guest, the dates and the total. Say where it came from (direct, or a channel such as Airbnb or Booking.com) and who pays you: the guest, an agent who collects and pays you later, the channel, or the guest on arrival. The booking goes onto your calendar and holds the dates.
For a direct booking, add the guest's email and Airflow emails them: a payment request if they are paying online, or a confirmation with a link to their guest portal if they pay on arrival.
Booking agents
If an agent or tour company sends you guests, save them once with their usual fee and payment terms. On each booking you can record that the agent collects the money and the date they owe it to you.
Commission and tasks
Blocking dates never carries a commission. A booking you add that is already paid carries none either: choose Already paid when you add it. If the guest goes on to pay the booking through Airflow, by card or by a payment you mark as received, your plan's booking-page rate applies, as it would on your booking page. What you do by hand in your portal never uses an automated task. See pricing for the rates.

FAQ
Common questions about Calendar and Your Own Bookings
Do bookings I add myself carry commission?
Not when the booking is already paid when you add it. If you add a booking and the guest then pays it through Airflow, by card or by a payment you mark as received, your plan's booking-page rate applies. See the pricing page for the rates.
Will dates I block show as unavailable on Airbnb and Booking.com?
Blocked dates are included in the calendar link Airflow publishes for each listing. Add that link to the calendar import on each channel and the channel shows those dates as unavailable the next time it reads the link.
Can I record a booking that came through an agent?
Yes. Choose that an agent collects the money, pick the agent or add a new one, and set when they pay you. You can save agents with their usual fee and terms for next time.
Does the guest of a booking I add get a guest portal?
Yes, for a direct booking with the guest's email. Airflow emails them a payment request or a confirmation, with a link to their booking.
